Hello!

My name is Lisa Johnson. I do not remember a time in my life when I did not have a dog, cat, hamster, fish, and even hermit crabs. I worked with my grandmother in my early teens at her boarding kennel during school breaks. I took great pride in making sure their stay was safe, clean and full of daily kisses and play time.

In 2016 my husband and I rescued a 1 year old Blue Heeler mix that had separation anxiety. I enrolled her in doggie day care to help transition her and it worked wonderfully. I went to work part time at the day care and realized that it was more fulfilling than my corporate job. I started full time and decided to continue my education in the pet care industry.

I graduated from Karen Pryor Clicker Academy in October 2020. I experienced firsthand that positive reinforcement shows your dog that you are on their team and want them to succeed! I want to help others to unlock their dog’s potential by teaching them to use the same language. After all, communication is the key to success in any relationship.
